This game is my first completed game as scripter (normally I do art).
It exists because I wanted to improve my scripting skills, therefore it deliberately includes no graphics, just a board and pieces shown using text.
It took 3 weeks to make.
The purpose of the project was to:
Script an entire game in a short time
Make a platform or template upon which to add custom chess models later on
Learn scripting through specific design challenges
Demonstrate fluency with UE4 using a measurable challenge
Provide a sample project for analysis by Lifeway College students
