UI Detail magnification

I was watching this [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWXBkV_C8Zs] and noticed they are using a utility to enlarge parts of the UE4 UI on their video so it's easier to see small details. I thought: "that'll be handy to use in classes".

I'm not sure it's the same tool used in the Epic Games talk, but for free you can get Magnifixer for Windows 8.1 http://www.blacksunsoftware.com/screenmagnifier.html

It can be set to capture at 30fps and you can specify the zoom amount.

This is great for highlighting what you are typing or parameter values in properties and what's under the cursor in zoomed out eventgraphs.

Windows itself has an ease of access magnifier which is rather similar. From Magnifixer you can get the RGB value under the cursor and the Mouse X,Y location. Both of those are handy while doing CG.
